1: Enquiry
Please do contact us with your child’s name, age, country of residence, nationality and recent report to give us a picture of your child and their accomplishments to date prior to registration. The next step will be to complete the registration form and send along with your child’s passport and your registration fee should you wish to apply for a place to join us.
2: Assessments
Assessments can be done either at Trent, in the student’s current school, with your Agent representative or at a British Council office. Applicants for Year 7 to 11 will do tests in English and Maths. Applicants for the one-year GCSE in Year 11 also take two science tests. Students applying for Sixth Form would be asked to sit assessments in English and at least 2 of their chosen option subjects.
3: Interviews
Following assessments we would then invite students for an interview, in person or over Zoom, with one of our Senior Leadership Team. The interview takes around 20 minutes and is a great opportunity to ask any questions you might have about the school, subjects or boarding houses.
4: Offer of a place
Feedback from the interview, assessments and school reports are then reviewed and an offer of a place is confirmed. Congratulations!
5: Visa Sponsorship
Trent College are able to sponsor Full Boarders joining school from overseas under our Child Student visa licence. We use the services of Sable International to facilitate your application and will support you throughout the process.
